Who can apply?
Citizens of European Union countries, OECD members, Russia, Ukraine, and some other countries can apply. The applicant must be working remotely for a company or be self-employed.
Basic Requirements:
- Be between 18 and 55 years old
- Have a university degree
- Have a monthly income of at least 3,000 USD (or an annual income of at least 36,000 USD)
- Work in a digital nomad profession (freelancer or employed remotely)
- Have a passport valid for at least 6 months

Application Process:
For applications made before arriving in Turkey:
- Apply for the Digital Nomad Certificate at https://digitalnomads.goturkiye.com/
- Obtain the Digital Nomad Visa
- Enter Turkey with the visa and apply for a one-year residence permit
Please note: The same residence permit type cannot be applied for more than once within 6 months. Therefore, if your residence permit application is rejected, you cannot reapply with the same type. Also, fees paid during the application process are rarely refunded.
